Doctors save cancer patient's foot with unique solution
Seven-year-old Austin Degnan from Illinois, USA, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. The doctors amputated his leg and attached his ankle to is so it can later be used as a kneecap and fit a prosthesis. This way, they saved the foot.
